We’ve always thought there was one way to eat pineapple, and that way is sticky, wasteful, and usually ends in a trip to the store to buy pre-cut pineapple slices.
But, as it turns out, we were very, very wrong.
Dennis Naghizadeh (@DenzBenzi) tweeted this hack last week and blew the internet’s collective mind:

The clip, which was originally posted by a user on TikTok, shows a pair of hands perfectly segmenting the fruit by pulling individual prickly spines. So basically, everything you thought you knew about pineapples is false and your entire life until this point has been a lie. Sorry.
