A New Year's wish for you beloved friends:
May love, hope, peace, joy, and laughter be your gifts this year.
As we set our intentions for our work in 2019, this poem by Robert Frost was ringing in the background of my mind.
So here is our abridged version, with some personal twists on this old classic, and ending with an Irish touch:
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And I could not travel both and be one traveler,
Long I stood and looked down one as far as I could,
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
And both that morning equally lay,
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. 💫
In this year of 2019 may you feel the courage, at every intersection, to take the road that leads you to the highest ideals you have for your precious life.
And may this road rise up to meet you, and the wind be at your back, while the sun shines warm upon your face, as you travel down your chosen path.
May blessings and peace be with you today and always. ❤️ Barb & Michelle (Photo: Carlos Aristizabal)
