8 oz penne or whole wheat pasta, cooked al dente
2 cups shredded rotisserie rooster
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly floor black pepper
1/8 tsp pink pepper flakes
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I choose component-skim)
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat an 8-inch sq. baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, toss collectively the pasta, rooster, 1 cup of the tomato sauce, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and crimson pepper flakes.
- Spoon the mixture into the geared up baking dish. Top the casserole with the remaining 1/2 cup tomato sauce and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle evenly with the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs.
- Bake right up until the top rated is bubbly and golden brown, about 25 minutes.
