While we dream of casually eating out at some point once more we’ll simply sit proper right here and salivate over The Salt Line’s groovy model id work by the proficient Ioana Balasa. The Salt Line Oyster + Ale is an oyster-focused seafood restaurant that artfully “merges the historic fishing cultures of New England and the Mid-Atlantic.” Balasa drew inspiration from classic oyster cans, baseball scorecards, and sea monsters. We’re significantly “digging” the dip-died menu boards, paper marbling, and canvas menu covers to provide the classic nautical theme a contemporary makeover. I’m a graphic designer residing in Raleigh, NC. Travel, discovered typography, classic postcards, printed ephemera & different hidden treasures are a few of the issues that encourage my work.

My love of graphic design has been years in the making. As just a little child rising up in Bucharest, I used to make books for my mates out of paper scraps and tried to get my arms on any piece of stationery I may discover when my mother would convey me to her workplace. I’ve great reminiscences studying my outdated books and magazines full of playful typography and illustrations. In the identical manner that these items maintain that means for me, I attempt to create work that’s significant and memorable.
