Flavio Melchiorre shared a colourful illustration undertaking titled ”Tropicália” – 2020. He describes the undertaking as an Experimental Digital Design involving modular kaleidoscopic patterns. The result’s an excellent colourful set of compositions with a method that jogs my memory a little bit of the artwork of the well-known Brazilian artist Romero Brito. Another factor that caught my consideration was the time period “tropicalia”. Tropicália, also called Tropicalismo, was a Brazilian inventive motion that arose within the late Sixties and formally resulted in 1968. Though music was its chief expression, the motion was not solely expressed so, because it enveloped different artwork kinds resembling movie, theatre, and poetry.
